Space Age 555 is a faithful tape echo simulation of the Roland® Chorus Echo™ RE-501 / SRE-555, the bigger brother of the iconic Space Echo™ RE-201, released in the late ‘70s.
The Space Age 555 features multiple delay modes, a spring reverb, and a BBD chorus, making it perfect for creating warm and organic lush echo effects.
We preserved the original “fake” stereo mode, where the outputs of the different unit’s section where split between the left and right channels. Furthermore, we added some extra parameters to fine tune the unit.
