Germany — Okmog today announced the release of Gyrator X, a next-generation equalizer plugin built on a fundamentally different approach to digital signal processing. Designed by physicist and mastering engineer Oliver Gretz, Gyrator X moves beyond traditional DSP techniques by modeling the actual electrical behavior of analog circuits—delivering a level of realism, responsiveness, and musicality rarely achieved in the digital domain.

At the core of Gyrator X is a physics-based, component-level emulation of gyrator circuits—electronic structures that emulate inductors without their physical limitations.
