Imagine that sound of a drawing pencil can be playable. Imagine a tonal harmony played on hair dryers, toothbrushes, ribbons and bottles. Imagine dirty bass made of electric buzz or analog lead made of electronic beeps. And satisfying ASMR texture made of microphones covered in bubble wrap. All of these in one playable library with additional separate WAVE files. And I will be honest: it SOUNDS GREAT.
And you will be surprised how tonal, beautiful and organic an electric fan can sound!

How it sounds
This instrument opens up countless creative possibilities. Here are some of our favorite ways to use it:
– as an unobvious sound for melodies, harmonies and bass (very analog-organic sound; reminds the sound of The Prodigy or Linkin Park leads and synths)
– as an instant organicness booster: just add the ASMR background loops and your track instantly feels warmer and more alive
– for layering magic – place it under your synths and watch them transform into something truly NATURAL
– as a source of unusual, characterful devices and tools that can carry both melodies and harmonies
– there is also a versatile micro-percussion kit, perfect for glitchy rhythms and industrial textures
How did we record it
To create it we had to record all kinds of:
– crackles (e.g. bubble wraps, blister packs)
– asmr (e.g. ribbons, drawing pencil, blowed bottles)
– electric buzz, hum, static noise (e.g. microwave beeps, soldering iron, amps)
– various electric devices (e.g. electric fan, hairdryer, toothbrush)
And well, this wasn’t obvious. We had to use stereo mics and put them as close as possible to the sound source. Sometimes we even had to put the materials ON our microphones and find the way they would be able to create an endless sound by… endless movement, that allowed us to create endless loops. Believe me, it’s not so easy to record a loop of a drawing pencil with a consistent sound in the middle of stereo field!
Then we have designed these sounds into easy-to-use, very beautiful and satisfying textures, playable instruments, and even percussive kits. As a result, we give you and instrument which can create a whole soundtrack made of intimate ASMR or unusual & sophisticated electric noise. It sounds awesome and it’s very, very practical.
What did we record
Hair dryer, drawing pencil, ribbon, hemp rope, microwave, bottles, electric fan, sponge, bubble wrap, guitar amp, paper, toothbrush, soldering iron, deadcat, fabric, paper sheet, carton box, metal pipe, chair, stand, sticky tape, various devices buzz, hum and static noise recorded via cable, tarp, stretch, wicker coaster and many other.
