Here to close out 2020 is t.y.jake with his second volume for the Kingsway Music Library, where he expands on his instrumentation and composition skills and steps out of the box even further. As a song craftsman, Jake is a perfectionist – smoothing out every corner and polishing each piece so that it shines from any angle you choose to see it.
Instrumentally, acoustic diversity rings strong – with pianos, horns, bells, voices, guitars, bass, strings and flutes weave and fuse together as Jake carves out his place as a producer by finding and extracting the magic buried within each track. Tempos sit mostly between 70-90bpm, with plenty of potential and space for creators to build from. A vision of what’s to come, it’s the perfect volume to end the year.
