EARCANDY
A cinematic archive of sonic details designed to glue your melodies together or spark entire compositions.
This folder includes a variety of granularized textures, pitch-warped field recordings, and convolution-processed nature ambiences all run through expressive pedal FX — including resonant filter sweeps, reverse delays, shimmer verbs, ring mods, and tape modulations.
Think glitched-out bell hits, subtly shifting organic drones, vinyl-level dust, and left-field stereo movement that flutters between intentional chaos and soft ambience.
These are your transitional artifacts, your earworm layers, and your nonlinear percussive spark.
TAPE LOOPS
The soul of this kit. Each loop is a pedal-sculpted, tape-warped journey — processed through a custom FX chain and finalized on the Tascam 424 and Portastudio VSTs.
Expect:
• Fluttering pitch modulation
• Lo-fi hiss and mechanical noise artifacts
• Stacked synth and guitar textures bouncing in stereo
• Sidechain-style ducking baked into the bounce
These loops feel like dreams from busted VHS tapes — unstable, warbly, and overflowing with tone. They’re melody starters, but they don’t need much help — each one is a layered idea waiting for a beat or vocal.
PRESETS
40 custom presets built with pedal-sampled audio as the core oscillator source, reimagined within Pigments and Analog Lab.
Every patch is infused with:
• Multi-stage modulation routing
• Filtered noise layers and static textures
• Envelopes shaped by tape dynamics and pedal response
• MPE-ready macro controls (where applicable)
Each preset is genre-agnostic — from grimey boom bap to ambient pop to experimental club.
ONE-SHOTS
Not your average one shots — each of these is a microcomposition in itself. Built from analog and found sounds, then saturated, modulated, and character-sculpted through a range of pedals.
You’ll find:
• Rhythmic tonal shots perfect for sequencing into melodic percussion
• Re-pitched octave jumps that hit like tape stop glitches
• Transient-rich blips that crackle with envelope follower and LFO modulation
• Accidental, off-grid notes and ghost hits that add swing and realness
These are ideal for building out full compositions without a single VST — just drag, layer, and play.
DRUM LOOPS
Drums like you’ve never heard. Every loop was built using analog drum machines, foley percussion, or recorded hits, then passed through multiple pedal chains — including distortion, granular reverb, stereo phasers, and slapback delays.
Expect:
• Crushed snares with broken cassette energy
• Kick tails that wobble with pitch drift
• Perc loops bouncing with multi-tap delay and reverse FX
• Overdriven transients and metallic ambiance
Loops are delivered in multiple styles (experimental, trap-adjacent, boom bap, ambient), but each one feels like it came from a circuit-bent drum brain.
CHOPS & PHRASES
A sandbox of raw material for creative slicing. These are non-quantized, non-keyed samples ranging from live pedal jams to processed vocal bits and guitar phrases.
Each file was left imperfect and uncorrected, encouraging you to stretch, pitch, chop, reverse, and flip them into something entirely new.
