At the crossroads of cutting-edge bass music and 90s rap tapes exists ‘Burnout’, an epic collection of euphoric synths, dark energy, and relentless crunchy drums. Original samples blending lofi analog synths, chopped and screwed rap hooks, and drum machines were crafted and curated to capture the gritty sounds of lost mixtapes. Then run through cassette tape, resampled, and reimagined to create original tape loops with all the textured feel of rare finds.
Fused with the essential elements of Phonk – distorted synth bass, ominous songstarters, infectious digital cowbell patterns, and ambient fx. Vocals were recorded, processed, and transformed creating rhythmic rap hooks, ethereal female vocal melodies, chopped loops, and one-shots. Plus a hard-hitting drum collection built to power the bass-heavy sub-genres of Phonk, Trap, Rap, 140, and beyond. All original and royalty-free, created by producer and sound designer Manel Bach for 91Vocals.
