核心功能

PSP McQ captures the sonic character and functionality of classic console equalizers, drawing particular inspiration from the versatile EQ sections found in MCI consoles. While rooted in these analog classics, PSP McQ expands on the original concepts with a number of modern features, including adjustable high-pass and low-pass filters, resonance controls for the shelving filters, optional bell modes for the low and high bands, and three nominal Q values for the midrange filters.
PSP McQ is packed with musical features, including gain-dependent Q for the midrange bell filters. Its flexible design makes it equally useful for detailed track shaping and for creating better separation and definition within a mix.
The output section also features our second-generation SAT(uration) algorithm. It helps protect against digital clipping in software or hardware following the plug-in while adding a smooth, analog-style overdrive when the signal is pushed harder. The saturation stage is located after the output level control in PSP McQ’s internal signal path, with its ceiling set slightly below 0 dBFS.
