Novation Play is a virtual instrument designed to pair perfectly with Launchkey MK4 MIDI controller keyboards, transforming them into an instrument that keeps you in the creative flow. Packed with basses, leads, pads, drum kits, and more, Novation Play gives you everything you need to start creating right away, either in your DAW of choice or as a standalone app for Mac and Windows.
Created in collaboration with pioneering Swedish plugin developer Klevgrand, Novation Play has been built from the ground up for deep integration with Launchkey. That means 1:1 mapping of macro controls for each sound, visual feedback on every pad, browsing presets straight from your hardware, and more.
Novation Play’s sounds have been meticulously sampled from renowned Novation, Sequential, and Oberheim synths, including Bass Station II, Peak, Prophet 5, and OB-6. Each preset has been expertly designed to sound great by default, but you also get all the control you need to make each one your own, without reaching for your mouse.
